Children's creativity in danger

A hundred experts related to the world of children have sent a letter to the newspaper The Daily Telegraph indicating the existing concern about the growth of depression and childhood behavioral disorders.

Apparently, the group of experts indicates that the combination of certain advertising channeled towards the children's world, computer games, game consoles and dangerous junk food, cause children's creativity suffocate.

The explanation provided by the experts is the following, apparently our society undergoes a continuous change in the cultural and technological fields, something that the brain of the child (still in development), can not assimilate properly. On the other hand they also indicate that junk food or fast food affects their way of life and that it is necessary to change these habits to return to a healthy meal. Finally, as we have repeatedly reiterated in Babies and more, that sedentary lifestyle in front of the game console or the computer screen leads to greater isolation, less communication and an improper lifestyle for children.

The group of experts denounces these situations, poor diets, lack of physical exercises, social relations, in short, a large set of problems that occurs in all developed countries. They add in the writing that children do not use the imagination and that there is a possible delay of three years on an intellectual level with respect to other children of the same age of 15 years ago.

Valuing childhood is important and necessary, ensuring adequate development is everyone's job if we want to prevent the next generations from being properly formed, children are the future.
