Before the chickens laid eggs but now, with modern science, their eggs seem to only come out if they receive a lot of quite painful and annoying attention. This is the very brief summary of this story in verse that I love.

The pediatrician and writer Carlos Gónzalez published it almost ten years ago. This author, a breastfeeding specialist and advocate of the philosophy of attachment breeding in Spain, has a special, direct sense of humor. It fascinates me and that is one of the reasons, no doubt, of its resounding editorial success.
