At the beginning of the month we celebrated World Environment Day with children, but we did not forget that we must protect our planet every day. That's why we bring you several children's stories about the environment that we can read online.
These are free publications of the European Union, which also cares about our environment and helps protect nature through different projects in all countries. With these stories it is intended that children learn from an early age how important it is to take care of the planet in which we live, a work that as parents we must take into account in our day to day with children.
For that reason he has edited a collection of children's stories and also an activity book which can be read or downloaded for free from the European Commission website, in Spanish or in many other community languages.
The activity book proposes "Think of a better environment and draw it with Tomás", and children can color the pages and solve some activities.
Other stories are "The three secrets of the environment", "The salmon of the red spring", "What beautiful swallows", "A hot heat", "Together", "The blue island", "The street of Flor" ...
In them we find diverse stories to tell the children, starring characters such as Tom, Benny, Flor, Lila the fox ... With color illustrations, by their extension some titles are more suitable for the little ones, others will like the older ones more. The themes narrated through simple texts are: deforestation, climate change, fires, love of animals, pollution ...
At the time, these booklets could be obtained on paper for free by asking them to the direction of the European Commission that appears at the end of the publications, although as they are from a few years ago, stocks have probably already been exhausted.
