Make your own letter so that the Magi respond to your children (Christmas'12)

A few days ago we brought Babies and more the possibility of making a personalized letter addressed to the children sent by Santa Claus. Today we do the same but being the three wise men the authors of it.

As with the previous letter you have a standard text as an answer that you can modify to your liking to personalize it based on your children. Below I explain how to make the letter for those parents who want to surprise their children before the holidays with a Letter of the Magi in response to what the children wrote for them.

Make the letter with the computer

You can download the letter here. This is a file with extension "doc", which can be edited with Microsoft Word or with Openoffice, for example. The document consists of two pages. The first is the letter to be printed, with a text box ready to paste the final text. On the second page is the text that I have written with the indications so that you modify it to your liking.

As there are parents who want to even respond before the day of Kings arrives I have written it thinking about a letter that you can deliver now, any of these days. If you prefer to write the letter the day they receive the gifts you will only have to change the tenses so that "I hope you like it" is "I hope you liked it", for example. Then I leave the text for you to read:

Dear (name of the child):

We are the Magi from the East. We recently received your letter and we wanted to answer you because, although we have a lot of work, all children deserve to have their letters answered.

We were very pleased that you explained to us that (write here some detail of the letter that was sent to the Magi, if the child explained any anecdote).

This year there are some toys that we cannot bring because there are so many children who have asked for them that there will not be enough for everyone. In your case, we cannot bring (write the name of the toy that you have not found. For example: the stuffed animal that releases feathers).

If you ask us next year, we will do our best to get you there. If not, you can also talk to your parents so they can give it to you on your birthday. Talk to them, I'm sure you reach an agreement. The other gifts you will receive without problems. (If there are no problems with the gifts, you can delete the two previous paragraphs).

There are few days left until the night of January 5. That night is very tired for all of us, because we have to reach all the homes of all the children in the world, so if you want you can put some food to help us gain strength.

As many times there are children who do not know what to wear we give you a clue: We like it a lot (write here what we are willing to eat that night after dinner ... For example: chocolates and chard) And camels love herbs, but since I don't think you have them, a glass of milk will also help them a lot. If they are not hungry, calm, they will take it the same to keep it in the hump, for when they need it.

By the way, on January 5 in the afternoon, if you want, you can see us in the ride of your city, but at night better to go to bed early so that we have time to bring gifts to all children.

(Name of the child), we send you a hug.

Make the letter by hand

In case anyone wants write text by hand, to make it more real, I leave below the background used in the letter with lines for the text (if you want it without lines, in the document "doc" you just have to erase the text box and print the first page) . To print, as usual, you have to do click on the image and it will be enlarged leaving the ideal size for the paper.

By the way, throw imagination

If you want the letter to be more real and credible you can add the phrases that you think are most convenient and remove the ones you don't like. Sometimes personalizing the letter a bit ("we want to return to your house, the tree you put every year we like so much that we always stay a while looking at all the ornaments") you will get them to be even more astonished. Well come on to the mess and to put imagination.
