Last year we made a very simple home craft for Halloween, and now that this date is approaching we leave you the idea to do it with your kids: Halloween decoration with bats made with egg cups.
With an egg cup of the cardboard we could make two or four bats (if the egg cup is half or a dozen, as they are cut in rows of three). With black tempera, moving eyes (or painted) and a cord to hang the bats are ready to decorate the "terrifying" house ...
We cut the egg cup into rows of three, and each piece will make a bat with its wings extended. The parts of the ends, the wings, we can trim them a little with spike shapes. After protecting the surface of the table to paint, you have to use tempera or black finger paint. We place the egg cup upside down, with the egg hole facing down.
Then we add the eyes to the central part of the egg cup, of the plastic ones with "mobile" pupil inside, which are in the craft shops, gluing them; Or we make them by cutting small pieces of white cardboard with a black dot in the center.
We can decorate the bat with glitter and it is ready to be placed on the shelf, on the table ... If we want to hang it, we have to look for a cord or black or orange wool and insert it into the head of the bat. And we can choose where "will fly" this bat to decorate the Halloween party. It will look great with these other nice vampires ...
