The good use of the corralito

He use of the yard or park It is very personal. For some parents it resembles a kind of cage but without a roof. Personally I do not like it too much, but specifically it has no harm to the motor development of the baby, on the contrary.

Using it without abuse, some specific times throughout the day allow the mother (or the caregiver) to have some moments of tranquility trusting that the baby is in a safe place.

On the other hand, it is useful for the child between 6 and 12 months to get used to entertaining himself and to be able to investigate and play in a small space where he feels calm and safe. In addition, you can take it where you are so you don't lose sight of it. Take care to place the yard in safe places, away from curtains, plugs, etc. Offer him a few toys (don't put the whole toy store in there) and change them every day so he doesn't get bored. You will soon discover that it is very fun to throw it out and have someone pick it up.

When you feel confident inside the playpen, you will start practicing new body movements and exercising your muscles as if you were in a gym. It is a good stimulus to start crawling and learn to stand up, bend over and walk holding on to the railing.

The play yard is also very practical for the little one to take a nap. This way you will learn to distinguish more easily the day of the night.

Remember that the park must be in good condition, in perfect condition and that using it a while a day is enough. Children need space to move. There is nothing better for their development than to let them roam and explore freely, although always under surveillance.
