Nowadays in our environment it is impossible to separate education from technology, and one of the advantages of having a computer in the classroom or at home is that we can take advantage of the advantages of audiovisual to learn. ALE (Literacy Aid) is a program to consolidate reading and writing in children.

It is a project of the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía. It is similar to another application for teaching literacy in Early Childhood Education in terms of quality of content and presentation, although aimed at somewhat older children.

Especially interesting are the visual spelling exercises (in which the "conflicting" letters are written using drawing forms) or those of completing vocabulary series, synonyms and antonyms ... There are also dictations, crosswords and a games section which can be ideal for children: find differences, find the couple or the classic Simon.

To practice literacy skills we have the areas of spelling, reading, writing and vocabulary, along with games to practice memory, concentration ... They are designed for primary school children, although we have highlighted the resources that can be used by children and those who Have a high level.

The website begins with a presentation of fake shots of "Toy Story" that immediately captures the attention of children and encourages them to participate in the interactive activities proposed.

ALE, Literacy Aid, is an interesting and fun proposal It brings together many exercises for reading and writing once the child already has a linguistic knowledge base.
