We have tried at home the story of little Red Riding Hood developed by Tictaptouch, a group company Artdinamica Communication. The application is for children and tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood in a very light, entertaining and exploiting the multimedia possibilities of the iPad.
Tictaptouch is the specific brand of application development for children. In this story the functionality of the application is very complete because allows to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood following the original story, although nobody eats anyone, or adapt the story to the imagination and creativity of children because it allows to place and interact with the characters in the scenes. In addition, in any reading mode, each scene hides some animations and sounds to make reading more interesting for the little ones.
The application is free of advertising, and is available in 6 languages. It is very intuitive and easy to use. At home we made it fast and had a great time reading the story, playing with the characters and accessing some additional utilities such as the one seen in the picture for the children to paint.
And is that the story includes a sketchbook which allows, using the fingers directly, to color the characters of the story. Once the drawing is finished, you can save it on the iPad and share it with family or friends.
The developers explain that the application works exclusively for iPad to get the most out of the screen and the functionality of touching and interacting with the screen. You can also move two characters at the same time or find animations while the father or mother read the stories to the child.
