In Madrid and until next August, Faunia, the theme park of nature, proposes us with the collaboration of the City Council of Madrid, to enjoy a solidarity campaign open to the participation of all and in which 20 giant figures are used. Its about king penguin, the emblematic animal of Faunia and one of the obligatory visits if you go to the park, which has become, thanks to the participation of important designers, in works of art. They have already placed Top 10 figures, which are huge and full of appeal. They have the signature of the designers: Ángel Schlesser, Alberto Corazón, Devota & Lomba (the one in the picture), Francis Montesinos, Victorio and Lucchino, Carolina Machín, Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares, Pascua Ortega, Ouka Leele and the graffiti artist Okuda.
further Faunia makes a commitment to strengthen its presence in social networks and taking advantage of the Internet day launches the PenguinMadrid contest. It is open to everyone's participation and lasts until next June 22, 2012. This is a solidarity project to collaborate in the dissemination of causes related to childhood and disability represented by FEAPS Madrid, Ronald McDonald Foundation, Father Garralda Foundation, Make a wish Spain, Asion or Fundación Juan XXIII.
To participate in the contest, just download the template of the solidarity penguin on the web, color and take a picture to upload it back to the web. There will be a popular vote that will choose the winning design that will move to a giant penguin and will open the last week of June 2012. At home we have already done it and my daughter is already proposing designs that we will send to participate.
Also, because Faunia seems to be conducting a great communication campaign, has launched a contest in schools in the Community of Madrid. Thus he has distributed 10,000 plastic penguins, 9 centimeters high and 200,000 paper templates.
