He Saturday, June 8, 2013 the I Meeting of Mothers Bloggers in the Slaughterhouse of Madrid. It was a call for I donate and Madresfera which aimed to gather in Madrid a lot of mothers who write and participate on the Internet with their blogs or personal pages where they have experiences of parenting, leisure, maternity, cooking, etc. in first person.
I have followed many of the participations from home through a fantastic link that allowed access to the event content. The presence was, at least what I have seen from the screen, mostly female and from what I've heard, they are all mothers of small sons / daughters. One of them, for example, could be seen from the screen in his stroller in the front row.
What I would most like to highlight from the day is how many speakers seem to mark a tremendous distance with the audience and how others quickly empathize with it and gained their attention throughout the intervention.
I think the blog market is very mature in Spain. Moreover, I think that the meeting has focused on presentations and topics of interest that although relevant are scarcely interesting for the audience because they are secondary, unattractive or useful and of course it is a matter of time they fall into oblivion.
In my opinion, the moment and the situation in Spain demands a total commitment to the Internet and in which many of the people who have participated in the day, like many others that exist in our country, show that they have enough projects, content, knowledge and resources to achieve success and become a sustainable and perhaps profitable business model.
I loved the presentation of @laninasinnombre (in the image) that with great humor, rhythm, order, organization and style has explained the main design rules to apply in a blog, how to organize the content, how to structure the ideas, how make it easier for readers to have fun (as long as the content accompanies). I also really liked @LuciaMPhoto that has perfectly explained how to define a style in the blog using the image. And he has done it from his experience and surely (I do not know her although I have already become his follower) since his magnificent love for photography. And in the morning @desmadreando explained her experience with her characters, herself unraveling, the critter, sementator and her stories always current and in which many mothers are reflected at the second of starting to read.
And they have seemed very boring, bland and scarcely contributing other papers for their sophisticated and boring language, for the poor empathy developed with the audience and especially because they put the focus on very technical aspects that they presented confusingly.
So I hope that these meetings can help the legislators, especially them !, the brands, the lobbies (if there are any and if they do not believe them), take note of the maturity of the market in Spain, of the professionalism of the authors, of the good disposition of many professionals for develop collaborations, new markets and especially new business models for Spain.
At a time when neighborhood stores don't stop dying in our streets it seems that it is possible to develop spaces on the Internet in which offers and demands have a place and especially solid bases to build on them: Internet providers, service providers, infrastructures, freelance specialists, etc. for those with a market, a huge market that moves on the Internet and has no borders.
And all this is supported by a high effort, effort that we have been able to hear from mothers who explained their hard experiences dedicating a lot of time between their work, their hobby or professionalization blogger, their family, their children, their mothers! (the best fans of bloggers) and many desires to meet, learn and exchange experiences.
It is very important that it be disseminated to how is the current Internet situation in Spain because I think you can say that all you are going to do is grow unstoppably with a great specialization by mothers (and many fathers) and especially for the second generation that he will know and will develop in a reality in which the Internet has a total role.
